COLLEGE OF PROFESSIONAL AND CONTINUING EDUCATION
College of Professional and Continuing Education (CPCE) was founded in 2002 as a self-financed college of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). CPCE oversees the operation and development of its two educational units, namely Hong Kong Community College (HKCC) and School of Professional Education and Executive Development (SPEED), with the aim of fostering synergy in providing quality education.

[Appointment period: twelve months]
Duties
The appointee will be required to:
(a) provide administrative support for research activities, including handling documents for funding remittance and transactions;
(b) coordinate grants applications and research centres;
(c) administer clearance of research ethics;
(d) support research events and related activities;
(e) assist in supporting committee servicing;
(f) assist in compiling statistical reports, and
(g) perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) a recognised degree, preferably in tourism management, hospitality management, business and social sciences or related disciplines;
(b) at least two years of post-qualification experience, preferably in customer services management and higher education sectors;
(c) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
(d) good communication and interpersonal skills;
(e) a good command of Word, Chinese Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access, and
(f) good sense of responsibility and the ability to work independently with minimum supervision, as well as the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Preference will be given to those who have experience in grants administration and coordinating research centres. Familiarity with research affairs would be advantageous.
Shortlisted candidates may be invited to sit for a written test.
